Armenian violinist Ani Batikian started performing at an early age. On stage Ani feels at home. As a soloist Ani has successfully performed in St.Martin-in-the-Fields in London, Usher Hall in Edinburgh, Glenn Gould Studios in Toronto, Glasgow Art Club, Pollok House, Cowdray Hall, Venue in Leeds and in many other halls. Ani has performed concertos with many orchestras in Sweden, Armenia, UK, and Canada. She is also a winner of national and international competitions

Ani entered the Yerevan State Conservatoire in Armenia at the age of 15 in the class of Professor Henry Smbatyan. At the age of 19 she received an undergraduate and at the age of 20 a postgraduate diploma with honours. 
In 2003 Ani received full scholarship to study at the Royal Academy of Music in London, in the class of Prof. Hu Kun, graduating with a DipRAM for outstanding performance, PGDip with distinction and LRAM. She was very highly commended in Wilfred Parry Prize, as well as Marjorie Hayward Prize in RAM, London. When she applied to pursue a Masters at the RSAMD, she was awarded the prestigious International Full Scholarship. Ani was accepted in the class of Professor Peter Lissauer. At the RSAMD, Ani underlined her reputation as a musician of exceptional talent by winning many prizes.

As a recipient of the Dewar Award, Ani performed in The Dewar Arts Awards Fifth Anniversary Concert held in the Scottish Parliament. She has also been broadcast on BBC Radio Scotland. 
Ani has performed in “Music Alp” Festival in France, Levon Chilingirian Festival in Armenia, Schleswig-Holstein Festival in Germany, and many other festivals. She has performed chamber music with major musicians like Levon Chilingirian, Ida and Ani Kavafians, David Watkin as well as the famous Hebrides Ensemble and received masterclasses with world-class musicians, like Thomas Brandis, Pierre Amoyal, Mauricio Fuks, Tibor Varga, Joji Hattori, Saschko Gawriloff, Sylvia Rosenberg, Zvi Zeitlin and many others.
Currently Ani is supervised by legendary violinist Salvatore Accardo in Cremona. She also teaches at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama.
